Princess Cruise Lines is not handicapped-accessible

I took a Princess cruise with several friends, one of which is a paraplegic in a wheelchair. The doors were heavy and had high thresholds. To get on and off the ship at port required stairs. They would throw a mat over them for the chair, but that was far from ideal! I asked why they didn't have a ramp, and they said it was because the water was too low, and they would have to have "a 50 foot ramp."

As we were working through the hassle of getting my friend on the ship, I looked over at the next place on the dock, where Royal Caribbean was docked, and lo and behold! RC had a 50 foot ramp in place!

I know this is going to sound extreme, but I would go far beyond a customer complaint, I would sue Princess Cruise lines. I like to take cruises with my sister who is also in a wheelchair and I would be livid that they are not providing a safe method for people in chairs to get on the ship. I think there are laws about stuff like this.
